Bright Movie Review

Write for us

We welcome pitches that help readers notice how movies work, grounded in a clear question and specific screen choices rather than plot recap.

What to pitch

Propose an original piece about a defined element of movie appreciation: for example, how a scene uses framing, how performance shapes a character exchange, or how editing changes the rhythm of a sequence. The planned first articles already cover broad craft areas, so pitches should bring a distinct subject and central idea.

A useful proposal

Tell us the working title, the main point, why it is worth exploring and the scenes or film material you would discuss. Keep claims about production history or intention supportable, and distinguish your reading from what is directly visible or audible.

Sending a pitch

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please do not send confidential or private material.
